The small security company Pratsch Security Solutions manages several properties and events in the Halle/Leipzig area. To keep track of all customers with their individual challenges and not lose oversight, CEO Thomas Pratsch desires a flexible overview of all orders that he can easily modify without much effort. COREDINATE offers the flexible dashboards which are the perfect solution to this problem.
All Processes at a Glance
To keep an eye on all processes in a property monitored by his company, Thomas Pratsch creates a custom dashboard for each client. This serves as his cockpit, where he can see exactly which of his employees are currently on duty, which patrols are upcoming, ongoing, or completed, and which tasks need to be performed during the watch. Besides himself, Pratsch's security chief Nathan Keilmann also has access to this dashboard.
One of his clients is MiKuMu Halle GmbH, a small art museum in downtown Halle. His security company has been asked to monitor the premises outside of opening hours and additionally take over parking lot surveillance on busy weekends.
Customer Profile
The Mini Art Museum in Halle (Saale) is a small exhibition venue with a total of two exhibition rooms, a foyer, and a terrace that is used for dining in good weather. The premises also include a customer parking lot and an employee parking lot with four spaces. The museum is open Tuesday to Sunday, 10 AM – 4 PM. Outside of opening hours, the main gate is locked and no access is possible.
Optional Portal Access for Customers
Due to past incidents, exhibition director Johann Grünberg asks Thomas Pratsch to promptly provide him with detailed reports on the control patrols. This allows security gaps in the building to be quickly analyzed and addressed. Immediate, real-time reporting is not possible for Thomas Pratsch's security staff due to time constraints. However, with COREDINATE, he can offer his client another solution: Mr. Grünberg gets access through his own COREDINATE portal account and can see all the requested information clearly organized on the custom dashboard set up for the museum.
Individual Dashboards for Selected Users
The dashboard that Thomas Pratsch has prepared for exhibition director Johann Grünberg differs greatly from his own. With his customer access, Grünberg has only limited rights and insights. For example, due to data protection, he does not see personal data of the security staff assigned to the museum. However, the requested information on incidents in his building is presented to Mr. Grünberg on his dashboard in a detailed and graphical format, allowing him to immediately register and respond to events.
Quick Response to Events
When events are logged by security staff, they appear on the dashboard with the corresponding details. Besides standard information such as date, time, area, and event type, security staff can also log remarks and photos. The key management tracks the current location of important keys. Johann Grünberg finds all this information in real-time on his dashboard. The status of an event and the predefined impact level indicate whether and how urgently action is required. Grünberg can choose to view this data in table format or as graphs using various widgets.
Improve Clarity with Dashboard Widgets
To design his dashboard, a portal user can choose from over twenty widgets of various categories, which can be easily placed on the dashboard via drag & drop. Colorful bar charts visually prepare information, making it easier to grasp. Extensive tables can display a lot of data at a glance, with customizable columns. Users can also select the time periods for which data is displayed. By default, the last 30 days are shown, but longer or shorter periods can be selected. With numerous filter functions, the dashboard is completely customizable.
Thomas Pratsch knows which information he needs for his daily work. Therefore, his own dashboards always follow the same structure, with filters set to display the correct data for each customer. However, the dashboards of his clients are all different and are individually tailored to the requirements and wishes of his customers. The settings of a dashboard are then saved, so the self-designed layout remains for all future sessions on Thomas Pratsch's account.
Using Dashboards Differently
Pratsch Security Solutions uses dashboards not only for customers. CEO Thomas Pratsch has also created overviews for internal management. In his portal account, there are customer dashboards as well as one for his own business operations and a dashboard for the HR department of Pratsch Security Solutions.
Access and visibility can be configured in the COREDINATE portal to be compliant with data protection, ensuring that only authorized employees have access to sensitive data.
