Security Essen covers the full range of civil security: access control, video surveillance, perimeter protection, fire protection, cyber security and civil protection. The 2024 edition drew more than 500 exhibitors from 36 nations and over 20,000 visitors.
New this year is the Euro Defence Expo, which takes place at Messe Essen alongside the main fair for the first time. It is aimed at the defence industry. Civil protection and disaster relief form the link between the two fairs, connecting civil security with public authorities and the armed forces.
