This year, the Bundesverband mittelständischer Sicherheitsunternehmen e. V. and COREDINATE® would once again like to focus on the numerous security employees who carry out their meaningful and important work every day. Like in 2024, we will ask you to vote for your candidate for Sicherheitsmitarbeiter des Jahres in 2025.

This is the procedure

The application or proposal is made in German language through one of the two forms on the German version of this page. An application is valid only if it is filled in completely and truthfully. Eligible to participate are all employed or self-employed security guards from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland who are at least 18 years old.

The application phase runs from January 31 to February 28, 2025 (12:00 PM, CET), after which a preselection of three to six candidates will take place, who will be sent to the final round by the jury. Starting from March 5, it's your turn: You can cast your vote for the preselected candidates here. The voting ends on April 16 (11:59 PM, CET). The winner will be announced on April 17. The award ceremony will take place on April 24, 2025 during the General Assembly of BVMS in Düsseldorf.

Suggest someone or apply by yourself: "Sicherheitsmitarbeiter des Jahres"

After the review of the submitted applications, three to five applicants will be selected by our official jury. The applicants will compete against each other in an online voting. The finalist with the most votes from the online voting will be named Security Employee of the Year. The award ceremony will take place on April 24, 2025 in Düsseldorf .

The voting ended on April 16, 2025.
