Security personnel make a vital contribution to the well-being of our society every day. With professional vigilance and determination, they ensure safety and order—often far from public recognition. The "Sicherheitsmitarbeiter des Jahres" competition honors this important work.

After careful evaluation by our expert jury – Steffen Ebert (Editor-in-Chief, GIT Sicherheit + Management), Lars Müller (President, BVMS e.V.), and Michael Kulig (Managing Director of COREDINATE®) – six outstanding finalists were nominated. The final decision was then made through a public vote.


Farshad Safari was elected Sicherheitsmitarbeiter des Jahres 2025 with 31.3% of the votes! 🎉

The official award ceremony will take place on April 25, 2025, at the NH Düsseldorf City Hotel, Kölner Strasse 186–188, 40227 Düsseldorf. We thank all participants for their commitment and congratulate the finalists on their outstanding performance, which represents the high standards of the industry.
